Casa Carina is located in the entrance of the village called Espiche. The perfect location to enjoy the non-touristic real Portuguese neighbourhood, while being very close to Luz & Lagos with their beautiful beaches and city life.
The house is cozy and traditional Portuguese with over 200 years of history and character, remodelled with a comfortable modern touch. It is possible to book rooms with us, but the house is also available for full rental.
The large open kitchen with entrance to the garden is like a second living room, which invites you to relax and to hang around. The garden is faced Southern towards the sun and therefore protected against the occasional chilly Northern wind.

Casa Carina Espiche also rents out the full house from March till November. The full house can host comfortably 6 people. The house includes 3 bedrooms, 2 ensuite bathrooms + outside shower and toilet for general use. Kids beds are possible to arrange in request (please contact us for more information). There is a cozy living room to relax and watch a movie. The kitchen is spacious and connected to the garden, which makes BBQ-ing comfortable and easy.
All year around we rent out rooms in our guesthouse. The rooms have ensuite bathrooms, a shared living room and garden. On request we can offer twin or double beds. One of the rooms + ensuite bathroom is located on the ground floor, therefor easy accessible for people that prefer to avoid using the stairs. When renting a room, you will share the guesthouse maximum with two other guests.

Espiche captures a truly traditional Portuguese vibe and experience, away from the tourism side but not too far away from the beach and its beauty. There is easy acces free parking around the house.
The bar Arco Iris is just a stone throw away, as well as some restaurants and multiple coffee places, which invites you to wander around in the old traditional village.

Just in 4 minutes drive to visite the nearest beach in Luz. If you prefer to walk, then you can be with your feet in the ocean within 25 minutes.In the mood for city life? 10 minutes drive takes you to Lagos, the nearest town. If you don’t have a car then the bus, taxi or Uber are easy and comfortable as well.
Espiche is an easy location to move in all directions if you are in for a road trip. For example Sagres, back in the days also known as the end of the world, is only 20 minutes away from Espiche. Or Aljezur, a beautiful village on the West-coast in 30 minute drive. All together this area creates the perfect picture for a holiday destination for young or old, single or families and everything in between
